Knitting Journal (Ok, just putting some pictures up for
now)
(sorry this takes so long to load, I wanted to keep the details)
This is one of my favorite sweaters. It's a Viking
Turid, and a very soft wool
The entire sweater (can you tell how soft and squishy it
is?)
A collection of experiments. I do love the lace scarf
and my socks!
Dickies in front - a lost art. (Pattern - Elizabeth
Zimmerman)
My lovely socks.
Pink/blue/multi are the self stripling socks.
Red speckles are heavy cotton.
Brown speckle and purple are wool.
Red/blue/yellow are a varigated.
And, the long brown one was my first big sock, and it's the first acrylic
that feels amazing - it feels more like silk than plastic.
Hats and hats.
Purple, pink and grey fair isle are wool.
Pink/purple, pink/pink striped, yellow trees, and varigated are acrylic.
Green "jesters" both got sold.
Detail of the pink/purple checkerboard experiment.
I liked this one so much that I kept it.
William's favorite. He said I could sell it because it
didn't match his jacket.
The ultimate cable - (zoom in)
The front of the ultimate Celtic sweater.
Can you see this detail? It's still rather dark.
